Every year in Louisiana, the Rayne Chamber of Commerce hosts the biggest frog party in the world, namely the Rayne Frog Festival. Thousands of party-animals from across the country converge at the 20,000 sq. ft. Rayne Frog Festival Pavilion in search of a fun-filled weekend:

- bullfrogs in costume,

- and eating fried frog legs and other taste temptations.
Rayne Frog Festival is a celebration of Rayne, Louisiana's heritage as the single largest worldwide shipper of frog legs throughout most of the 20th century.
Live bands perform every afternoon and evening filling the air with toe-tapping music...Cajun, Zydeco, Country, Swamp Pop and Variety. Festival-goers also enjoy the sounds of musicians with local, regional and national acclaim.
The Rayne Jaycees host a diaper derby where the babies must crawl to the finish line and are disqualified if the little tikes decide to walk. This is always a crowd-pleaser.
The Rayne Lion's Club picks its annual Frog Derby Queen in a contest that features young ladies dressed as jockeys showing their costumed live frogs and competing in a frog jumping contest.
